Few sport utility vehicles and trucks were recalled on Dec 7th, 2005 due to issues related to the Motor Vehicle Safety Standards number 110. These vehicles were transported with the loading and tire information labels with inaccurate vehicle weight capacity.

Misprinted labels on the vehicle may lead to improper loading specifications that in turn may lead to tire failure increasing the crash risk. Owners will get corrected labels as well as installation instructions. The number of potential units affected in the recall was around 32,068.


2006 Hummer H3 Recalls- Passenger Sensing System

Few Hummer vehicles that were originally designed with cloth seats were equipped with passenger sensing system associated with the automatic air bag system. In testing, it is proved that the leather seat covers in the vehicle can cause malfunctioning of passenger sensing system. In case of malfunctioning of passenger sensing system, passengers may get injured. The number of potential units affected in the recall is around 794.
